NOTICE is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council (“the Council”) intends to apply to Bath Magistrates Court sitting at North Parade Road, Bath, BA1 5AF on Friday 31^st October 2014 at 2.15pm for an Order that parts of the highway known as Kingston Road, Bath, shown by black hatching on the plan which may be inspected at our offices at the One Stop Shop, 3-4 Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JQ during normal office hours, shall be stopped up under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 on the ground that those parts of the highway are unnecessary.

The effect of the Order sought will be to extinguish all public rights of way over the parts of the highway at Kingston Road. On the hearing of the application the Council, you and any person who uses the highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order applied for, shall have a right to be heard.
