(THTTC3427 MARGARET’S HILL, WALCOT, BATH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Margaret’s Hill, Walcot, Bath from its junction with A4 London Road extending north to its junction with Lower Hedgemead Road.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for safety reasons due to nearby building works and unstable ground on the 23^rd February 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Margaret’s Hill (remainder) – Gay’s Hill – Camden Road – Camden Crescent – Lansdown Road – The Paragon – London Street / London Road – Vice versa.
