(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of A39 High Littleton at its point outside High Littleton C of E Primary School for approximately 101 metres. Co-ordinates 364571.9859,158030.1748 to 364490.6896,157969.1302

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to resurface the carriageway as part of zebra crossing construction by Bath and North East Somerset Council for a maximum period of 2 weeks.

The works are anticipated to be carried out in two phases:

·   Phase one to be carried out on 11^th February 2023.

·   Phase two to be carried out on 20^th and 21^st February 2023, between the hours of 19:00 – 07:00hrs only.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
