(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Wells Road, Hallatrow from its junction with Hart’s Lane extending in a south westerly direction for approximately 315 metres to Bloomfield Cottages. USRN: 47918069  

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for Openreach Works - road closure to allow for safe access to complete gully and cabling works, closure by Sunbelt Rentals on the 18^th July 2022 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS between 19:00 – 06:00hrs.  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:  Via White Cross - Main Road - Upper Bristol Road - The Flat - Upper Bristol Road - Main Road - Chelwood Road - Bath Road - New Road - High Street - Church Road - Hallatrow Road - Vice Versa
