(SALTFORD VILLAGE AND SCOUTS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles High Street and Norman Road, Saltford. The closure will be a rolling closure.

This order is required in order to prevent obstruction during the Remembrance Day Parade and will be operative on Sunday 12^th November 2023. The closures are scheduled to be between the times of 09:30 hrs to 11:45 hrs.

Schedule:

09:30hrs – 09:45hrs approx. Parade leaves Saltford Hall for St Mary’s Church.

10:45hrs – 11:10hrs approx. Parade leaves the St Mary’s Church marches along the High Street to the Memorial on the junction of the High Street / Beech Road.

11:10hrs – 11:20hrs approx. Parade returns to Saltford Hall and disperse.
