Notice is hereby given that Bath and  North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made an order the effect of which will close temporarily to vehicles:


 


a)    Avon Street, from its junction with James Street West in a northerly direction to its junction with Kingsmead Square;


b)    Barton Street from a point which extends from its junction with Saw Close for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction;


c)    Beauford Square from a point which extends from its junction with Barton Street for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction;


d)    Kingsmead Square for its full length;


e)    Saw Close for its full length;


f)     Trinity Street, for its full length;


g)    Upper Borough Walls from a point which extends from its junction with Parsonage Lane to its junction with Saw Close;


h)   Westgate Street, from a point which extends from its junction with Parsonage Lane to its junction with Saw Close;


i)     Trim Street from the corner of Trim Bridge West to the junction with Barton Street;


j)      Bath Street from its junction with Stall Street for its entire length;


k)    Hot Bath Street from its junction with Beau Street north to Bath Street.


 


This order is required in order to prevent the obstruction of the roads named above during the Bedlam Fair 2019 and will be operative from 10am until 8pm on Sunday 2nd June 2019.
