(THTTC3391 FOREFIELD RISE & ROSEMOUNT LANE, LYNCOMBE, BATH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Forefield Rise & Rosemount Lane, Lyncombe, Bath.

• Forefield Rise from its junction with Priority Road. Vehicles can only exit onto Prior Park Road from Forefield Rise.
• Rosemount Lane from its junction with Lyncombe Vale

This order is required due to a lane closure on Lyncombe Hill because of an unstable retaining wall, closure on the 29^th January 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lyncombe Vale - Lyncombe Vale Road - Lyncombe Hill.
