(THTTC3444 TIMSBURY ROAD, FARMBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Timsbury Road, Farmborough from its junction with Priston Lane extending north to its junction with the A39 Bath Road. USRN: 47917903.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable contractors to excavate the road and install cable duct to a new National Grid Substation on the 28^th March 2024 for a maximum period of 5 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWENTY THREE DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Timsbury Road (remainder) – Bloomfield Road – B3115 – A39 – Vice versa
