ORDER 2024

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footway closure to pedestrians and cyclists in that length of Upper Borough Walls, Bath from its junction with Burton St extending east to its junction with New Bond Street Place. A road closure is already in place for the temporary prohibition of use by vehicles. USRN: 47901403.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable statutory utility and civil engineering works associated with the placement of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation bollards by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 1st March 2024 for a maximum period of 8 months. The road/footway will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

 

Pedestrian Alternative Route: New Bond Street Place – New Bond Street – Burton Street – Vice versa.
