Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to:
a) Temporarily introduce a road closure on the roads and lengths of roads, as specified in Columns 1 & 2 of Schedule 1 of this notice between the dates and times specified in Column 3.
b) Temporarily introduce No Loading, Waiting and Parking Restrictions on the roads and lengths of road as specified in Columns 1 & 2 of Schedule 2 of this notice between the dates and times specified in Column 3. Also suspend any current provisions to load, wait or park on those roads or lengths of roads; this includes blue badge holders.
c) Temporarily introduce a footway closure on footways and lengths of footway, as specified in Columns 1 & 2 of Schedule 3 of this notice between the dates and times stated in Column 3.
d) Temporarily suspend the one way working in High Street, Midsomer Norton northbound to southbound, to allow for traffic to travel south to north only.
The order is required to facilitate the holding of the Midsomer Norton Carnival 2022 and will be operative on Monday 14th November and Tuesday 15th November 2022 between the times specified in the attached schedules.

Eastbound footway from a point 18m west of the junction with A367 Wells Road Fosseway in a south-easterly direction to the junction with the Fosseway.
Northbound footway from a point 20m south of the junction with Charlton Road extending in a northerly direction to the junction with Park Way.
