(THTTC3235 HARPTREE HILL, WEST HARPTREE / HIGHFIELD LANE, COMPTON MARTIN)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

·Harptree Hill, West Harptree from its junction with the A368 extending south to its junction with Western Lane. USRN: 47916909.

· Highfield Lane, Compton Martin for its entire length. This road will remain closed for the duration of the works taking place on Harptree Hill. Access will be maintained for residents only. USRN: 47902567.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for a drainage survey by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 13^th September 2023 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 – 15:00hrs.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West Harptree Road - B3134 Old Bristol Road – B3135 – A39 – B3114 – A368.
