(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY PEDESTRIANS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

• A road closure and footpath closure in that length of Abbey Green, City Centre, Bath for its entire length.
• A footpath closure in that length of Church Street, City Centre, Bath from its junction with North Parade Passage extending north to its junction with York Street.
• A road closure and footpath closure in that length of York Street, for a small section either side of the junction with Church Street only, from 7 York Street extending to 8 York Street.
• A footpath closure in that length of Kingston Parade, City Centre, Bath for its entire length.
• A footpath closure in that length of North Parade Passage, City Centre, Bath at its junction with Abbey Green/Church Street.
• A footpath closure in that length of Footpaths Abbey Green to North Parade Buildings, City Centre, Bath for its entire length.
• A footpath closure in that length of North Parade Buildings, City Centre, Bath from its junction with North Parade Passage extending south to a point outside 7 – 9 North Parade Buildings.

This order is required to facilitate filming and shall be operative between 06:00hrs – 20:00hrs on Thursday 20^th June 2024.

The road/footpaths may not be closed for the whole period and will only be as and when signs/marshals are in position.
