(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2021

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Station Road, Church Lane and Greenridge Clutton from its junction with A37 to its junction of Venus Lane, also Church Lane from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Venus Lane, Clutton. These works will be carried out in two phases.

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for carriageway for Carriageway Reconstruction and Resurfacing

works by Bath & North East Somerset Council, operative from the 05th April 2021, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of up to 2 week’s.

 

ALTENATIVE ROUTE:-

 

Station Road, Clutton Phase 1 – CAD-JS-1642

Diversion via Clutton Hill - Flatts Lane - A39 - A39 Wells Road - A37 White Cross and Cooks Hill. Reversed for opposite direction.

Station Road, Clutton Phase 2 – CAD-JS-1643

Diversion via Clutton Hill - Flatts Lane - A39 - A39 Wells Road - A37 White Cross and Cooks Hill. Reversed for opposite direction.
