(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2021

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of High Street, Silver Street, Midsomer Norton from and including the roundabout at Church Lane to and including the junction area of South Road. These works will be evening works and carried out in 2 phases

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for carriageway patching, works by Bath & North East Somerset Council, operative from the 08th April 2021, for a maximum period of 3 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of up to 2 nights.

 

ALTENATIVE ROUTE:-

 

Church Lane B3344 - Bath Road C658 - Radstock Road A362 - Somervale Road A362 - Wells Road A367 – Fosseway - Charlton Road C660 - Silver Street B3355 and reverse
