(THTTC2915 VILLAGE HALL LANE / HOME FARM LANE, NEWTON ST LOE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

• Village Hall Lane from its junction with Home Farm Lane extending to its junction with Village Road. USRN: 47903872
• Home Farm Lane for its entire length. USRN: 47903873

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road in order to excavate the highway to lay duct, fibre optic cable and install a chamber for the broadband network by Truespeed on the 19^th September 2022 for a maximum period of 4 WEEKS. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE WEEKS.  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pennyquick – Village Road – Vice Versa.
