Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made an order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles High Street and North Road, Midsomer Norton. The closure will be a rolling closure. This order is required in order to prevent obstruction during the Remembrance Day Parade and will be operative on Sunday 13th November 2022. The closures are scheduled to be between the times of 10:40 hrs to 13:00 hrs. Schedule: 10:40hrs – 10:45hrs approx. Parade leaves muster point – West Clewes Recreation Ground / North Road / Radstock Road. 10:40hrs – 10:50hrs approx. Upper reach of High Street closed for parade. 10:40hrs – 11:40hrs approx. Lower reach of High Street closed for service. 11:30hrs – 11:35hrs approx. Parade to march from High Street to MSN St John’s Church. 11:30hrs – 13:00hrs approx. High Street to junction with One Stop roundabout B3355/Redfield Road closed - Parade to return and disperse.
