NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in North West Outer Area, Bath:-
1.
Introduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Sion Road, Brassmill Lane, Napier Road, Lansdown Lane, Brookfield Park, Rosslyn Road, Audley Grove, Podgers Close, Purlewent Drive, Bath.
2.
Introduce 2 Hour Limited Waiting, operating Mon – Sat, 8am – 6pm in lengths of High Street, Weston, Bath.
3.
Removal of X1 Disabled Parking bays in lengths of High Street, Weston, Bath.
4.
Removal of X1 Disabled Parking bay in lengths of Foxcombe Road, Newbridge, Bath.
5.
Introduce x1 parking space of Zone 24 Permit Holder Only parking in lengths of Foxcombe Road, Newbridge, Bath.
6.
Remove a section of existing No Parking Between Mon – Sat, 8am – 4pm restriction in lengths of Newbridge Road, Bath.
7.
Remove a section of existing No Parking At Any Time restrictions in lengths of Sion Road and Avondale Road, Bath.
The order will come into operation on 1st August 2023. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose. |
