BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

 

(VARIOUS ROADS, BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO.1) ORDER 2024

 

NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in North West Area of Bath:-

 

1.    

Introduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Pen Hill Road, Haviland Grove, Broadmoor Lane, Falconer Road, Leighton Road, High Street Weston, Avondale Court, Apsley Road, Windsor Bridge Road, Penn Lea Road, Cranwells Park, Bath.

2.    

Introduce a Zone 23 / 3 Hour Limited Waiting bay in lengths of Summerhill Road, Bath.

3.    

Introduce a Disabled Parking bay in lengths of Lyme Road, Bath.

4.    

Introduce No Parking / No Loading At Any Time in lengths of Chelsea Road, Bath.

5.    

Introduce No Parking / No Loading Between 8.15am – 9.15am and 2.45pm – 3.45pm in lengths of Brookfield Park, Bath.

6.    

Introduce No Parking Between Mon – Fri, 10am – 4pm in lengths of Manor Park, Bath.

7.    

Introduce No Stopping On School Keep Clear Markings At Any Time in lengths of Weston Park East, Bath.

8.    

Introduce a Zone 7 Permit Holder Only parking bay in lengths of Sion Hill East, Bath.

9.    

Introduce a 4 hour limited waiting, no return within 1 hour, Mon – Fri, 8am – 6pm bay in lengths of Weston Park, Bath.

 

The order will come into operation on 1st October 2024. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
