PEDESTRIAN CROSSING,

NOTICE is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by the relocating the existing Pelican Crossing on Upper Bristol Road located 30 metres west of its junction with Nile Street to a point 8 metres east of its junction with Nile Street and changing this pedestrian crossing point to a Parallel Zebra Crossing as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. A Parallel crossing can be used by both pedestrians and cyclists.
Full details of the proposal are contained in the draft order, which together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours.
