Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend parking at the eastern end of High Street,  Bathampton on the northern side for a distance of approximately 25 metres just before the Dark Lane turning and to temporarily suspend parking in the 4 hour limited waiting bay on the southern side of Tyning Road, Bathampton for a distance of approximately 100 metres.


 


This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads to facilitate the creation of a residential development at the end of Tyning Road on the site of the Old Timber Yard by Charlcombe Homes Ltd and will be operative on the 1st May 2016 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The parking will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of eighteen months.
