BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC2764 VARIOUS ROADS, ST CATHERINE’S PARISH, BATHEASTON) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and to suspend all parking in the length of roads listed in schedule one.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate drainage and highway maintenance works in narrow rural lanes.  Parcels of work will be carried out in phased approach and will all be individually advance noticed on site and communicated to the local community through the parish council.  Traffic Marshalls will manage the closure points and direct local traffic accordingly. To be carried by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 7th March 2022 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Diversion signs to be placed on site and Traffic Marshalls to direct local traffic.
