(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2021

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Chandag Road, Keynsham, from its junction with Bath Road (B3115) to its junction with Hurn Lane, also to include a section of Hurn Lane from its junction with B3116 Wellsway to its junction with Dene Close, including cul de sac’s - Derwent Grove, Tamar Drive and Lambourn Road. These works will be carried out in two phases.

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for carriageway for Carriageway Reconstruction and Resurfacing

works by Bath & North East Somerset Council, operative from the 01st April 2021, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of up to 2 week’s.

 

ALTENATIVE ROUTE:-

 

Chandag Road, Keynsham Phase 1 – CAD-JS-1645

Diversion via Hurn Lane - B3116 Wellsway - B3116 Bath Road and Chandag Road. Reversed for opposite direction.

Chandag Road, Keynsham Phase 2 – CAD-JS-1646

Diversion via Chandag Road - Hurn Lane - B3116 Wellsway and B3116 Bath Road. Reversed for opposite direction.
