(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

·      

Queens Parade Place for its entire length. USRN: 47901276

·      

Gay Street from its junction with George Street to its junction with Queen Square. USRN: 47900611

·      

Queen Square for its entire length. USRN: 47913606

·      

Queen Square Place for its entire length. USRN: 47913605

·      

Chapel Row for its entire length. USRN: 47913310

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to undertake traffic signal improvement works by Bath & North East Somerset Council on the 7th November 2022 for a maximum period of 5 nights. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE NIGHTS between 19:00 – 07:00hrs.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the east; A4 London Road turn left into A3039 Walcot Street, follow the A3039 to The Grand Parade, Manvers Street, Dorchester Street, across the River Avon to Lower Bristol Road. Follow the Lower Bristol Road west then turn right into A3604 Windsor Bridge Road, turn right onto Upper Bristol Road, travel east to Monmouth Place. Diversion ends.

From the west; follow the above directions in reverse.
