NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council made the following order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will prohibit vehicles, except for pedal cycles, from proceeding in a length of Midland Road, Bath, starting from a point 61 metres north of its junction with Lower Bristol Road, heading north for a distance of 36.7 metres.

The Bath and North East Somerset Council (Midland Road, Bath) (One Way Traffic Restriction) Order 2019 reference 18-015/1/AC will come into operation on 25th March 2019 and a copy, together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the Councils’ One Stop Shops during normal office hours.

Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
