(VARIOUS ROADS, IN NORTH EAST SOMERSET) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF PARKING AND LOADING) (NO STOPPING ON ENTRANCE MARKINGS) (AUTHORISED AND DESIGNATED PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION No.2) (ORDER 2024)
NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in North East Somerset The High Street, Midsomer Norton and The Island, Midsomer Norton:-
1. Introduce No Parking at Any Time.
2. Bus Stop.
3. 1 Hour Parking Mon – Sun 7am – 7pm No Return 1 Hour
4. Disabled Blue Badge Holders Only Parking
5. Taxi’s Only Mon – Sun 7pm -7am
6. No Loading Thursdays 6am – 6pm
7. 1 Hour Parking Mon – Wed & Fri – Sun 8am – 4pm No Return 1 Hour
8. No Loading Mon – Sun 10am – 4pm
9. Loading Only 8am – 10am & 4pm – 6pm Mon – Sun
The order will come into operation on 13th June 2024. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose. |
