Details

This Management Plan covers the two World Heritage Site inscriptions for Bath:

  • The City of Bath (1987)
  • The Great Spa Towns of Europe (2021) 

The Plan has to be renewed every six years, and this draft covers the period 2024 to 2030

Also included are appendices giving more context about:

  • The history of Bath
  • UNESCO World Heritage and Bath's inscriptions onto the World Heritage List
  • How WHS sites are managed, internationally, nationally and locally
  • The ownership of Bath, and other major stakeholders
  • More reading on the heritage of Bath
