Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025

This report reviews local pharmacy needs from October 2025 to September 2028. Its production is led by the B&NES Health & Wellbeing Board and it is used by the NHS South West Collaborative Commissioning Hub to judge any applications for new or changed pharmacy services.

Details

The report found no gaps in contracted services. However, ongoing temporary closures could cause future issues if they become permanent. In such a case, there is a potential for a gap which would require further evaluation and an update would be published on this webpage.   Problems relating to medicine shortages, staff levels, or long waits are not in the scope of the report but should be reported to the local NHS complaints team.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Norton Lane, Wellow from its junction with Baggridge Hill extending south east for approximately 800 metres. Notice is hereby given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles that length of Church Farm Lane from its junction with High Street in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres and the section of un-named road from Church Farm Lane to its junction with the High Street / Church Lane j
