20-010B - MILSOM STREET, BATH - BUS LANE - PROHIBITON AND RESTRICTION OF PARKING, LOADING AND WAITING - AUTHORISED AND DESIGNATED LOADING - VARIATION No.2 - ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS GIVEN that on 16^th March 2023 the Bath and North East Somerset Council (the Council) made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in the Central Bath area: · Prohibit any vehicle other than an authorised vehicle to enter Milsom Street from its junction with George Street for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction between 10am – 6pm everyday. · Restrict and prohibit parking, loading and waiting as shown on the tiles to this Order. · Authorise designated loading as shown on the tiles to the Order.
The order will come into operation on 25^th May 2023. Full details together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act have not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
