Re-naming of a street in Batheaston - Solsbury Place

Notice is hereby given that on or after 1 February 2024, Bath and North East Somerset Council will make an order (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Order’) under Section 18 of the Public Health Act 1925. The effect of the Order will be to re-name road indicated on the attached plan, previously named Victory Close, as SOLSBURY PLACE.

Any person aggrieved by the intended order may within 21 days after the date of this notice appeal to Bath and Wansdyke Magistrates’ Court at North Parade Road, Bath, BA1 5AF.

The National Procurement Policy statement (Feb 2025), updated in February 2025, sets out the strategic priorities for public procurement and how contracting authorities can support their delivery. 

This statement identifies five national priorities of government, as follows:

  • Take back our streets 

  • Break down barriers to opportunity

  • Build a National Health Service fit for the future 

This policy statement aims to guide local authority procurement to reinforce and enable these national priorities.
