Use this page to learn about the Somer Valley Forum and how you can take part.
Area Forum meetings are part of the Connecting Communities programme. They bring together residents, ward and parish councillors, community organisations and public services to discuss topics of interest and help address concerns.
By working together, we can develop a shared understanding and respond to the issues that matter most to local people.
Take part in Area Forums
Meetings are open to everyone and take place either in person or online. The forum usually meets 4 times a year.
July 2026 activities
In July, we have organised a series of activities for Area Forum members about community-related projects across Bath and North East Somerset. These informal sessions also give people an opportunity to network and socialise.
Anyone can attend any of the sessions. Please tell us if you plan to attend so we have an idea of numbers. Places are limited for some activities.
Register for the July activities
You can also RSVP with your choices by emailing connecting_communities@bathnes.gov.uk.
