The fifth and final sprint for this phase has finished. The first part of the last sprint review summarised the Discovery project.
Attention was then turned to concept development and forming alphas. During Sprint 5 the project team worked to further develop the opportunities identified. This involved adding outcome orientated descriptions and identifying linked opportunities.
The team identified 60 potential solutions to help address the 22 opportunities. Along with quick wins, this feels like a great starting point. There are some clear ways to make improvements to the service.
The attendees of the sprint review then had the chance to vote on the opportunities. Choosing the 3 which are most important to them. With the breakout rooms filled, voting began. Some of the opportunities overlap, so the task wasn’t as straightforward as it first appeared.
The team are now discussing Alpha options with key stakeholders. To determine what to focus on in the next phase based on which ones will deliver the most benefits.
