Training - developing Inclusive Practice

This is part of the training offer to support settings and professionals working with children and young people with SEND in B&NES.  

Training sessionTopics covered
ADHD awareness Part 1Exploration of the neurobiology of ADHD and understanding the reason behind the behaviours (1.5 hours)
ADHD awareness Part 2In-class strategies and ideas to support ADHD. This session covers adaptive teaching, speech and language considerations and whole-school policy and practice (1.5 hours)

Please note you must book both sessions separately and they must be accessed in order.

Graduated Response & SMART TargetsSession focuses on using a graduated approach to support SEND pupils and the construction of SMART targets (1 hour)
Maximising Impact of Additional AdultsIntroduction session to consider the deployment of additional adults within a setting (1.5 hours)
SEND Commitment AuditHow to audit your setting through self-evaluation and identify next steps for whole setting development
