People of all ages and fitness levels exercise in our parks as part of a healthy lifestyle, from lunchtime joggers to serious athletes. Being a licensed fitness operator gives you the exciting opportunity of running activities in some truly unique and world renowned settings.
If you wish to use the parks to run personal training or group fitness sessions, you must apply for a permit. We use the permit process help manage our public spaces in the following ways:
- Regulating physical training in the park
- Balancing activities, to ensure that the spaces are equally available for all users
- Ensuring safe, high quality activities from qualified trainers
- Promoting how our parks are used to improve public health; this may include publicising your classes across our social media accounts

| 3 months unlimited sessions in all parks | £345 + VAT, £414 inc VAT |

Before you apply
You will need the following information and documents to complete your application.
- An electronic copy of your public liability insurance (a minimum of £5 million per claim)
- Risk assessment
- Instructor certificates
- Disclosure Barring Service certificate (if teaching classes with under 18s)
- First Aid qualification or First Aid plan
- A payment card
