We appointed Dyer and Butler to carry out the refurbishment.
Work to Cleveland Bridge started on 4 May 2021, with the first stage being to construct the site compound and erect scaffolding, using off-peak temporary signals to make space for the work.
The bridge will re-open to two-way traffic in early October 2022.
