We’re running a short survey to understand what residents think is important about food in B&NES. The findings will help shape the new B&NES food strategy
Who we are asking and why
We are asking as many B&NES residents as possible because food matters to everyone, every day. We also want to involve residents in developing this strategy, so it helps to meet the local needs that you identify.
How to respond
Give yourself at least 10 minutes. There is a series of short questions about food and then a few more to help us understand the range of people who have responded. Many questions just need a quick tick in a box and you can pass over any you'd rather not answer.
This survey is anonymous. Please do not include any personal information in the comment boxes that may identify yourself or others. However, if you do so, the Council will see this as consent to process your personal data. For more information about how we manage responses, please read the Council's Consultations and Survey Privacy Statement for this consultation.

Next steps
We will use your feedback to help us develop the first draft of the food strategy that will go to Council in early 2026.
This is the first stage of developing and implementing a food strategy for B&NES. Further resident involvement will be integral to the implementation of the strategy.
