The purpose of processing

The council is surveying residents for their views to inform the development of a Food Strategy in Bath and North East Somerset.

We collect demographic data to understand broader trends and patterns, which will not be used to identify you personally.

living situation
partial area postcode
ethnicity
faith
sexual orientation
disability
carer status

How is it used?

This demographic information will be used in our analysis to help us better understand the context of your responses. It will help us to consider how we can follow up with further engagement across the district to ensure we have heard from as broad a range of people as possible. This data will not be used to identify you personally.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

Demographic data will only be retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose specified above.
