If you're worried about an adult's safety, wellbeing or ability to cope, we're here to help. Whether you're concerned about abuse or neglect, or you think someone may need extra support to live independently, there are ways you can get help for them.
Report abuse or neglect
If you think an adult is experiencing abuse or neglect, it's important to tell us. You do not need proof of abuse to raise a concern. It's better to report something you're worried about than to stay silent if someone may be at risk.

Help someone access support
Sometimes an adult may need help with everyday tasks, staying independent or accessing services in their community. If the person agrees, you can help them find information, request support or complete forms on their behalf.
If you have the person's permission, you can use our Adult Social Care Portal to help them access services. You can also explore the support available through adult social care and local health and wellbeing services.
