(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of A362 Radstock Road, Midsomer Norton from its junction with Rock Road extending to its junction with Burlington Road. USRN: 47920437

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for replacement traffic light signal cables by Western Power Distribution on the 5th September 2022 for a maximum period of 5 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE NIGHT between 20:00 – 06:00hrs.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A362 Radstock Road – A362 Somervale Road – A367 Wells Road – A367 Fosseway – A367 Nettlebridge Hill / Bath Road – A37 Marchants Hill / High Street – A37 Rush Hill – A37 Bristol Road – A362 Farrington Gurney – A362 West Road – A362 Station Road – Vice Versa
