BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC2341, WINDSOR BRIDGE ROAD,  FOOTPATH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2020

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to pedestrians in association with demolition works adjacent to the footpath on the east side of Windsor Bridge Road starting from its junction with A36 for the entire length of Windsor Bridge Road to its junction with Upper Bristol Road.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath for demolition works by Bath & North East Somerset Council operative from 16th October 2020, for a maximum period of 7 months. The footpath will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of 6 months.

Alternative Route – Pedestrians will be diverted onto the opposite side of Windsor Bridge Road where there is an alternative footpath.
