Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Wedgwood Road, Whiteway, Bath from its junction with Kelston View extending north for approximately 20 metres. USRN: 47901427.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to clear blockages from the 8th September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Diversion A: Kelston View – Haycombe Drive – The Hollow – Whiteway Road – Poolemead Road – Wedgwood Road – Vice versa.
Diversion B: Poolemead Road – Whiteway Road – The Hollow – Haycombe Drive – North Way – Kelston View – Vice versa.
