Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Stockwood Hill, Keynsham from a point outside Southlands cottage extending south east to its junction with Stockwood Vale. USRN: 47919256.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach safe access to overhead and underground structure for cabling work on the 24th May 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:30 – 15:00hrs.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stockwood Hill (remainder) – Stockwood Lane – Staunton Lane – A37 Bristol Road – Queen Charlton Lane – Woollard Lane – Charlton Road – High Street – A4175 Bristol Road – Old Bristol Road – Stockwood Vale – Stockwood Hill - Vice versa.
