Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
• St Stephen’s Road from its junction with Camden Crescent extending north to the garages adjacent to 21 Camden Crescent. USRN: 47901322.
• Camden Road from its junction with Gay’s Hill extending south west to its junction with Camden Crescent. USRN: 47900404.
• Camden Crescent from its junction with Camden Road extending south west to its junction with Lansdown Road. USRN: 47900403.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main upgrade works from the 13th February 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TEN DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Camden Road/Camden Crescent: Camden Road – Eastbourne Avenue – Claremont Road – St Saviour’s Road – Beaufort Place – A4 – Lansdown Road – Vice versa.
