Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
• A road closure in that length of St Saviour’s Road, Larkhall, Bath from its junction with Larkhall Place extending south for approximately 45 metres. USRN: 47901320.
• A temporary suspension of the one-way restriction on St Saviours Road, from its junction with Dafford Street extending south to its junction with Larkhall Place. This means that two-way traffic will be able to travel along St Saviours Road between Dafford Street and Larkhall Place. Vehicles will be able to turn right from Dafford Street onto St Saviours Road, whilst the temporary two-way is in operation.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main works from the 27th May 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.
