Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 16a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles High Street / Crown Hill, Upper Weston, Bath.
• High Street will be closed from its junction with Trafalgar Road extending to its junction with Manor Road.
• Crown Hill will be closed from its junction with High Street extending to its junction with Church Road.
• The one-way restriction on High Street will be suspended between the junction of Trafalgar Road and Crown Road to allow two-way traffic.
• A no left-turn restriction will be introduced on High Street at its junction with Trafalgar Road, allowing vehicles travelling southbound from Trafalgar Road to turn right onto High Street and exit the area via Crown Road.
This order is required to prevent obstruction during the Remembrance Day Parade and will be operative on Sunday 8th November 2026. The closure is scheduled to be between the times of 10:30 hrs to 11:30 hrs.
