Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles, the roads and lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 of this notice.
This order is required in order to prevent obstruction during the Remembrance Day Parade and will be operative on Sunday 9th November 2025. The closures are scheduled to be between the times of 09:30hrs to 11:30hrs.
Parade details:
09:30hrs – 09:45hrs approx. Parade leaves Saltford Hall Scout Hut for St Marys Church.
10:45hrs – 11:00hrs approx. Parade leaves St Marys Church/Queen Square and marches along the High Street to the Memorial on the junction of High Street / Beech Road.
11:15hrs – 11:30hrs approx. Parade returns to Saltford Hall via Norman Road and Broadway. On completion Parade will use the footpath down Chelwood Road to Saltford Hall Scout Hut.
