Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
Pilgrims Way, Chew Stoke from its junction with B3114 Bristol Road extending north west for approximately 75 metres. USRN: 47904069.
Chapel Lane, Chew Stoke from its junction with B3114 Bristol Road extending east for its entire length. USRN: 47921595.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out a decayed pole change - erect new pole, overhead reconductoring on the 30th April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 – 16:30hrs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pilgrims Way: Pilgrims Way – Blind Lane – B3114 – Vice versa.
Chapel Lane: Walley Court Road – B3114 – Vice versa.
