Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to:
• close temporarily to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders that length of Manor Road, Saltford from its junction with Longwood Lane extending west to its junction with Montague Road. USRN: 47961355.
• Close temporarily to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders that length of Footpath Manor Road to Montague Road, Saltford from its junction with Montague Road extending south to its junction with Manor Road. USRN: 47920527.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road/footpath to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works on the 2nd March 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road/footpath will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 – 15:00hrs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Montague Road – Manor Road – Vice versa.
