Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
Lyncombe Vale, Lyncombe, Bath from its junction with Rosemount Lane extending south west to a point outside the property known as The Lodge. USRN: 47901055.
Rosemount Lane, Lyncombe, Bath from its junction with Lyncombe Vale extending west to its junction with Lyncombe Hill. USRN: 47901301.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out works to reline the sewer from the 16th February 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise: Lyncombe Vale (remainder) – Lyncombe Vale Road – Lyncombe Hill – A36 Claverton Street – A36 Lower Bristol Road – A36 Rossiter Road – Claverton Street – A3062 Prior Park Road – Lyncombe Vale.
Anti-clockwise: Lyncombe Vale – A3062 Prior Park Road – Claverton Street – Pulteney Road – A36 Rossiter Road – A36 Claverton Street – Lyncombe Hill – Lyncombe Vale Road.
