Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a no waiting / no stopping / no loading at any time restriction to all traffic, in that length of Locksbrook Road, Newbridge, Bath. This includes parking suspension of existing permit parking bays.
• From the boundary of properties 7/8 Locksbrook Road, within the existing permit parking bay (on the south side of the carriageway) extending south west for approximately 210 metres, to the Goods Inwards Access of Horstman.
• From the northern boundary of the existing permit parking bay, opposite 9 Locksbrook Road (on the north side of the carriageway) extending south west for approximately 192 metres to the gateway access of Bath & North East Somerset Council Depot / Passenger Transport Office.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road due to Section 171 redevelopment works at the recycling site from the 27th July 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. The no waiting / no stopping / no loading at any time restriction is anticipated to be in place between 27th July – 4th October 2026.
