Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
• a suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Lambridge Street, Lambridge, Bath from its junction with St Saviour’s Road extending south east up to its point with the road closure.
• a road closure in that length of Lambridge Street, Lambridge, Bath from its junction with A4 London Road extending north west for approximately 78 metres. USRN: 47913480.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate the construction of a new continuous footway by Bath and North East Somerset Council from the 22nd June 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIFTEEN DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lambridge Street (remainder) – Upper Lambridge Street – St Saviour’s Road – Ferndale Road – Gloucester Road – A4 London Road.
